RedLore describes wire-free anchors and a gateway layer. Confirm the selected gateway's power and uplink requirements with the platform owner. Wireless anchors do not establish that every other dependency is already available.

Define who associates tags with assets
RedLore's Scanner App supports tag-to-asset pairing. Assign that data task before field work begins, including the source asset register and the person who checks it. Mounting a tag and assigning it to the correct business asset are separate checks.

Plan maintenance access while mounting
Record where each device can be reached for service and replacement. Use the selected device's current instructions for mounting and maintenance. Avoid treating advertised battery life as a guaranteed replacement interval for the project.

Agree the application acceptance record
Specify the assets, zones and conditions used for the trial. Have the platform owner confirm that the expected records reach the application and correspond to the correct assets. Log unresolved items against the device register.

Questions to settle before the crew arrives
Does every RedLore anchor need a cable?
The manufacturer describes wire-free anchors. Use the actual hardware design to identify gateway connectivity and any other wired infrastructure needed at the site.
Who pairs tags with the asset inventory?
Assign a data owner to that task. The field crew's mounting record should reconcile with the platform's tag-to-asset association record.
Is SRS a certified RedLore installer?
This page does not assert manufacturer certification or authorization. Verify required credentials and model-specific procedures before awarding the work.
Can the gateway always use cellular connectivity?
Do not assume it. Confirm the selected gateway model, uplink service and site conditions with the platform owner before including connectivity in the scope.
What does SRS need to scope the physical work?
Send the site list, states, drawings, device schedule and approved installation instructions. Include access windows and the contact who owns platform commissioning so responsibilities can be agreed before dispatch.
Which costs affect the field estimate?
Mounting access, work windows, pathways, travel, device quantities and readiness gaps affect field labor. Platform licenses, calibration and application integration should be quoted separately by their assigned owners.
How should a pilot become a multi-site deployment?
Accept the pilot against the agreed physical and platform tests before repeating it. Carry forward the approved checklist, record site-specific differences and confirm readiness before each later visit.
What does the scope workbook include?
It records site readiness, device locations, responsibility owners, acceptance checks and cost categories. Complete it with the platform designer and facility owner, then use it to request comparable field estimates.
