Identify the selected anchors, installation accessories and positioning-server arrangement before estimating field work. Use the current Pozyx instructions for that hardware; a prior site's bill of materials is not a substitute for the new design.

Preserve the layout decisions

Pozyx's anchor-location guidance explains why obstruction and geometry matter. Have the platform designer approve the layout and any field deviation. Return the actual installation record to the commissioning owner.

Schedule the commissioning handoff

Treat mounting and connectivity as the physical release milestone. Identify who configures the system and validates positioning performance. Leave enough coordination time for the commissioning team to resolve device or layout discrepancies.

Who commissions the Pozyx system?

Name the qualified Pozyx platform owner in the scope. Do not assume that mounting and connecting an anchor includes calibration or application integration.

What should the field crew receive?

Provide the released layout, hardware schedule, mounting instructions, network prerequisites and a commissioning contact. Identify who can approve a changed installation point.

Can I use another facility's anchor layout?

Use it only as planning context. The platform designer must approve the layout for the actual geometry, obstructions and tracking requirement.

What does SRS need to scope the physical work?

Send the site list, states, drawings, device schedule and approved installation instructions. Include access windows and the contact who owns platform commissioning so responsibilities can be agreed before dispatch.

Which costs affect the field estimate?

Mounting access, work windows, pathways, travel, device quantities and readiness gaps affect field labor. Platform licenses, calibration and application integration should be quoted separately by their assigned owners.

Accept the pilot against the agreed physical and platform tests before repeating it. Carry forward the approved checklist, record site-specific differences and confirm readiness before each later visit.
