Capacity and coverage are different
A long aisle may need directional coverage. A dense packing zone may need capacity. Specify the application and device count per area instead of asking for one signal threshold everywhere.

AP height and orientation determine where energy goes. More radios at the roof deck can perform worse than fewer radios mounted for the aisle geometry.
Prove roaming with the real device
Laptop tests do not predict scanner behavior. Validate association, handoff, latency, and packet loss with the client devices used in production.

If the building is empty and racking is not final, install pathways and provisional coverage only. Delay final RF acceptance until the physical environment matches operations.
