Select an audio visual contractor around the room workflow

An audio visual equipment installer mounts and connects hardware. Integration also needs clear ownership of control programming, conferencing accounts and acceptance tests. Ask the AV company to identify those responsibilities before comparing equipment lists.

Define AV support services separately from installation

Installation closeout should identify the support contact and the records that support team needs. For recurring support, agree which devices and software are covered, service hours, remote access and onsite escalation. Do not treat a project warranty as an unlimited managed service.
